Lightstep sat as the young apprentice raced off and nosed her sister’s limp body. What would happen now? I sure hope that apprentice knows what she’s doing, Lightstep thought bitterly. Sniffing Fernpool’s still body once more, she lay don and placed her head protectively over the tortoiseshell pelt of the medicine cat and closed her eyes praying to Star Clan to give that apprentice guidance.
A short while later, she heard rustling and looked up. The apprentice was hobbling towards her with a few herbs and immediately began rapid fire questioning. “No, she hasn’t moved.” Lightstep replied guardedly and stood. “Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” she asked suspiciously. “Feverfew is for fever’s is it not? I thought you needed some sort of Goldenrod mix for deep injures.” Not that she expected Dawnpaw to know that much yet. The kit was barley six moons old or something. Should she really be doing this? Fernpool herself had told Lightstep they weren’t doing poultices yet.

"Alright." Dawnpaw meowed. While Dawnpaw prepared the herbs she heard Lightstep's comment. "Don't worry, Feaverfew is sometimes used to treat head pain." Dawnpaw assured Lightstep, "And I think... Fernpool hasn't taught me about mixing herbs yet, and I don't want to get anything wrong." Dawnpaw pressed the cobwebs into her head wound. "Lightstep, Can you hold the Cobwebs there while I prepare the Marigold?"

Lightstep nodded and moved to hold the cobwebs as Dawnpaw turned to fiddle with the marigold. Looking into the face of her sister, she couldn’t help but frown. "Please wake up soon Fernpool…” she mewed softly and licked her sister’s ear gently.
[Couldn’t decided what else to add…-.-]

Dawnpaw then nodded a thanks, and chewed the Marigold. It had somewhat of a bitter taste... Dawnpaw put the chewed up Marigold onto her paw, and softly nudged Lightstep's paw away. She lifted a little part of the cobweb and pressed the Marigold into it, then she pressed the Cobweb back down. "Thank you, Lightstep, I Believe that Fernpool will be just fine."

Lightstep moved her paw as Dawnpaw fussed over Fernpool and the she-cat sat down with an uneager huff. This kit had better be right for her own sake. Nosing Fernpool again, she crossed her paws and put her head down pressing her body against her sisters in worry.
[Again, nothing to do/say till your done. Your turn next, Fern will wake up much later at least we plan on it.]

Dawnpaw sat down, tail curled over her paws, as Fernpool did. She purred softly from many memories... Dawnpaw looked at Lightstep nudging her sister. She sighed, come to think of it, Dawnpaw really never knew her sister. ((Meaning, Err, I don't have one or I need one O.O)) "Lightstep, I assure you she is Okay, in fact, she will wake up at any moment now." she meowed.

Lightstep sighed and nosed her sister again. Dawnpaw was wrong, Fernpool wasn’t moving! Sitting up, Lightstep wondered if there might be something else wrong. “Are you sure you did everything?!” she snapped at the little apprentice again. “There has to be something more!” There had to be! Fernpool wasn’t moving!
[We really like that last color you chose. It's easy to read on both our skins! XD]

Dawnpaw's fur bristled in fear when Lightstep snapped. "Uh- Well, Let me think." Dawnpaw stammered. No-No that has to be everything...Maybe.. "We could try putting water in her mouth, and making her swallow, I'm not sure if it will wake her up, but it won't hurt to try." Dawnpaw ran over to the stream nearby and plucked some moss out of the ground, she dipped the moss in the water and ran back over to Fernpool and Lightstep. She opened Fernpool's mouth slightly and squeezed the water into it. To make her swallow, she lifted her head up to the the Water would run down her throat.
"That may work, we need to keep her hydrated." Dawnpaw explained.
[Thanks! :3]

Lightstep watched as the apprentice fiddled around trying to set things right. Becoming increasingly worried, agitated and impatient, Lightstep growled softly under her breath. “Let’s just get her back to camp. Maybe one of the elders knows what to do.” She hissed angrily and nosed Fernpool softly again.

"Fine." Dawnpaw agreed. She nosed Fernpool's head up slightly, since that was the closest side to her, and then pushed Fernpool's front end up onto her back. She waited for Lightstep to do the same.

Lightstep nodded reluctantly and stood to nose Fernpool’s rear end up. The cat was limp and couldn’t support her weight so Lightstep pushed from behind as Dawnpaw was up front. Pressing against her sister’s flank, the two cats were able to support Fernpool. “Alright, let’s go.” Lightstep said as she waited for Dawnpaw to start moving.

"Okay." Dawnpaw mewed. She started to pad toward the camp, at a quick pace. When they were just about there, Dawnpaw felt Fernpool slip a little bit, She slowed down, and jumped so that Fernpool's body would move. She continued at that pace toward the camp.
~At Camp~ "Alright, This way, Lightstep." Dawnpaw meowed, walking toward the Medicine den. She walked in, and bounded to Fernpool's moss nest. "Okay, we need to set her down. One.Two.Three." Dawnpaw let Fernpool's head softly touch the moss, letting the rest do the same.

Lightstep followed at a slow pace, hoisting Fernpool’s body carefully along. When they arrived at the camp, she followed Dawnpaw and laid her sister’s body carefully on the moss bed before sitting and nosing her again. There had been no change in Fernpool’s condition and Lightstep didn’t know if this was good or bad. Laying down and tucking her paws into her chest, Lightstep pressed herself close to her sister. “Go get an elder. Ask around and see what else you can do!” she said in an anxious tone. “There has to be something else!"

"Okay, Okay." Dawnpaw stammered. Before she left, though, she ran over to her moss bed, and picked up the silver feather that she found a few sunrises ago, and ran back over. She set the feather down in Fernpol's bed, so it slightly toutched her pelt. "Please, wake up Fernpool." she whispered. Dawnpaw ran away toward the Elders den. Maybe I can talk to Foxlight, he will know. She ran over into the empty tree that held the elders. "Foxlight? Foxlight are you there?" she called. "Mrrrh, yes?" Foxlight rasped. "Foxlight, remember when you got knocked out by that fox? "Yeh, that mangy old dog." he Growled "Err, Fernpool got attacked too." Foxlight's eyes grew wide, they were filled with fear. "What do we do to help her? I already gave her Feaverfew and Cobweb, and marigold." "Well, Dawnpaw." he meowed," If you have something special, put it next to her, StarClan works through things that one loves."
EDIT: I didn't finish it . Lol. Now I did.

Lightstep watched as the apprentice padded away and to the elders den. Laying her head gently on the tortoiseshell pelt in front of her, Lightstep nosed her sister. Wake up Fernpool! She thought urgently. There was absolutely no change in anything as the cat in front of her lay still nestled in the moss bed.
