To have Kits...
...be sure to ask your leader first.
...you cannot create an already-pregnant queen, or a queen with young kits. She must become pregnant.
...the she-cat must have at least three threads of being pregnant before she has her kits.
...both parents must follow the following requirements....
All right then, so you want kits. Do you have a mother and father for these kits? Are these cats played by two separate members? Have both members agreed on this? If so, then you may continue reading
I need the following form filled out for both the mother and the father. PM this form to me, and once I have received both forms, we can make your kits! Here is the form that needs to be filled out:
Name: Name of the parent
Eye color: eye color
Peltage: short version of description (leave out things like scars, or anything the cat was not born with)
Special traits: (ex. extra long claws, particularly massive body structure, maybe born without a tail...anything strange or special that could carry on to offspring)
From this information, I will decide the basic appearance of the kits. Obviously I will not have it so that two tabbies will make a jet-black kit. It will be more realistic than that
Now for the number of kits, gender, and whether or not they have birth defects...
Number of kits: Okay, so I will take a regular stack of 52 playing cards and shuffle it three times. Then I will pick the card from the top. If the card is a club, the litter will have one kit. If it is a diamond, it will consist of two kits. A heart bumps it up to three, and a spade means four little kitties.
Gender: I will shuffle the deck three more times, and draw a card for each kit. If I draw red, the kit will be female. If I draw black, it will be a boy.
Now for personality: I will PM the parents with the number and gender of the kits, and their appearance. The person who RPs the mother (she can consult the father if she wants, but doesn't have to) then sends me a very short personality for each kit, like just a few adjectives.
When I have received the personality, I will create a new thread in the appropriate board with the information for the kits! If both parents are in the same Clan, then the kits will be posted in that Clan's board. If the parents are from two separate Clans (or one Clan and one loner/rogue) then they will be posted in the "Disputed Kits." If the parents are both loners/rogues, the kits will be posted in the "The Outsiders" board.
Then the parents can choose whether to give them up for adoption, and what member gets to take them. The parents can name the kits, or they can leave it up to the adopters. Major appearance/personality will be made when the kits become apprentices and their official bios are made (about two weeks after they're born).
