Age: 18 moons
Gender: She-cat
Rank: Warrior
Personality:
Lightstep is a very gentle, friendly she-cat with a streak of stubbornness and she is calm, sweet and very open to helping anyone in need. Much like her sister Fernpool, Lightstep loves playing with the kits and hopes to have some of her own one day. She is very confident in her abilities and knows her strengths and weaknesses very well. Very secure, though not obnoxious, Lightstep doesn’t think very highly of herself in general. She knows her flaws and weaknesses and handles herself in order to maintain them and keep her traits at their best most of the time despite a few mistakes every cat makes now and then.Picture:
Short Description:
Confident little queen, that cares for everyone.Appearance:
Lightstep’s coat is almost all grey. Covering her entire body up till her chest, tail tip and paws, she is not easily spotted while hunting. Her tail tip and paws are snowy white and kept very clean most of the time with constant grooming. Brown spots cover the lower part of her chest and continue to turn her soft, tender underbelly that same muddy color. The right half of her face is this same light brown white the other half is grey and her muzzle – white. A tiny pink nose is hidden there as well.History:
Like Fernpool, Lightstep’s body is very agile and lean perfectly designed for swimming through rough currents. Though very quick while running, Fernpool had always been the faster of the two while Lightstep was the better swimmer. Her paws are light – hence the name Lightstep – adding to her build for swimming. Lightstep’s bright jade eyes match Fernpool’s almost except as their mother had passed them down through to her two kits.
Lightkit had always been slightly envious of her sisters attention from the elders. She hated being thought of as the weaker warrior and always stove to try and prove herself even. The grudge was held all the way through apprenticeship when one day, while out hunting together, Fernpaw accidentally fell in the river and got caught in a strong current. Despite being born and raised in Cascade Clan, Fernpaw had never been the best swimmer though she certainly wasn’t the worst. Getting aught in the current, she would have drowned had Lightpaw not saved her sister. Since that day Lightpaw had realized she shared many of the same qualities as her sister but didn’t need to compare every strength and weakness. They each had their own differences despite being sisters.Family:
Before anyone could guess, Fernpool was receiving even more messages from Star Clan and soon was made the apprentice medicine cat leaving Lightstep as the only warrior left in the family.
Both parent deceased from ValeClan but was born to Angelpelt and Blackfern early in their pairing. Both warriors were killed during an invasion attack from an enemy clan when Lightkit was still at a very young age. Sister of Fernpool.RP Example:
Lightpaw was seated quietly at the edge of the river with her paw raised waiting for a fish to swim by. She wanted to finish hunting and return to camp to speak with Fernpool about something that had been bothering her lately. It was somewhat urgent and had been distracting the she-cat from her duties for quite some time. A fish suddenly swam into view and just as it was about to pass, Lightstep swiped her paw into the water sending it flying into the air. She leapt up and caught it neatly between her teeth before landing lightly on her white paws. She had just regained her balance when a head popped out of the bush beside her, startling the warrior. She let out a tiny yowl releasing the fish from between her teeth. It flopped around on the rocky bank and was about to flop into the water when an orange paw reached out to snatch it.Other:
“Sorry.” Came the voice of a tom. Lightstep turned her head and saw it was Scorchstripe. The orange tom was named after the color of his almost scorch-like ginger pelt and one black stripe that reached from his withers to the tip of his right ear.
“You almost made me lose that fish.” Lightstep accused gently. She wasn’t angry with Scorchstripe for she should have been paying attention to the sound of his paws padding towards her long before he actually appeared. “But it’s alright, what did you need?” she asked leaning over to pick up the fish again and carry it away to take back to camp.
“Nothing, I just wanted to know when you were going back.” The tom replied trotting behind her. Lightstep smiled despite the fish she was holding and flicked her tail to swat him on the nose.
none.
