Short Description:
Age: 8 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Rank: Apprentice
Personality:
As her fur compares to the sun, so does Vividpaw herself.Picture:The sun radiates warmth.
Vividpaw is a friendly cat. She tries to treat all the cats in her clan the way she'd like them to treat her. Most of the time she's fair and nice. Her role models in the clan are the queens with kits. One of her only regrets about becoming a medicine cat is that she will never be a mother and have kits. She wants to make up for that by acting motherly toward her whole clan. She knows she has a long way to go.The sun is bright.
Vividpaw has been identified as a "natural". She's one of those cats who just catches on easily. Remembering herbs comes naturally to her, although she sometimes stumbles. She has a good memory and usually keeps her wits about her instead of panicking. She knows that she is smart, though, which is a fault of hers. Though she tries to be patient, other apprentices that haven't quite caught on yet tend to get on her nerves, and she forgets that she is the only other apprentice that should know all those herbs. Sometimes she starts to believe that she is really smarter than she is. During these instances, her mentor needs to remind her that she's still an apprentice with a lot to learn. The sun burns.
Sometimes Vividpaw has a hard time keeping her tongue in check. She is quicker to insult than she is to think. Many a time she has hurt the feelings of a clanmate by saying something rude before she thought about how it would affect them. She can be snappish sometimes when she's been having a bad day. Not only does she burn others, sometimes Vividpaw is burning under the surface. She is sensitive to some minor things, and if somebody hurts her feelings she will smolder until they either apologize or make it worse. Vividpaw is usually a good natured cat, thouh, and seldom gets too far into furiousness. She has learned to talk to others about what bothers her-most of the time. The sun waits for the stars.
If there is onw place where Vividpaw puts her trust, it is the paws of Starclan. She has been taught all her life that Starclan know what they're doing, and she's never had any reason to doubt it. She trusts her mentor wholeheartedly to do what's best, and is doing her best at learning to interpret signs so that she can be a good medicine cat.
Short Description:
White she-cat with ginger spots and green eyes.Appearance:
The sun comes to the mind's eye at first sight of this young she-cat. Her fur is blinding white in color, especially in contrast to the shadowy forest. Patches of flaming ginger make their way onto the snowy background of her fur, standing out against it. The stark brightness of her fur is a shining tribute to the rays from above that bring heat and warmth to the forest. Vividpaw's white fur is of medium length, feathering out at her paws and giving her a more bushy tail. She keeps it well groomed and clean, seldom allowing mud or burs to cake her fur.History:
After the shock of her fur has worn off, one hardly has time to catch their breath before they are met by the second wave of Vividpaw's appearance: her eyes. The depth of green in her eyes against her white face is like the buds of Newleaf after Leafbare. Her eyes-vivid like her name- ar the color of ferns alive with new sprigs of foliage. They shine like moonlight reflecting off a still lake. The emerald irises around her pupils sparkle with facets that seem to dance in the sunlight.. While looking into her mesmerizing gaze one might think they'd joined their deceased loved ones in Silverpelt.
Vividpaw, despite her stunning appearance, is by no means pettite or delicate. She is tall for being a young apprentice. Her body is of lanky build as opposed to being short and stocky. She has powerful hind legs, the sinews of her corded muscle visible beneath her fur. She is a swift and agile runner, and is accomplished at weaving her body through undergrowth. Her muscled hind legs are accostumed to leaping to the lower boughs of the mighty trees of the forest.

·Vividpaw almost asked Palepaw if he was okay, but that would have possibly given him the notion that she cared how he was doing. Which she didn't. Right? She didn't think she cared, but maybe she did. It had made her sick to think of Palepaw getting hurt on her account. But that was just because she would feel guilty. And because she didn't want anybody hurt at all, Stoneclan or not. Wasn't that how medicine cats were supposed to feel?
·Now that she'd sorted that out in her mind, Vividpaw was free to decide whether she should go with Palepaw. She didn't believe that he'd really want to hurt her. He was a pretty decent cat when you really thought about it...thought about it hard, anyway. She listened to the other cat stumbling over his explanation of why he wanted to go look for herbs. Of course he would want to get away from camp. Vividpaw tried to imagine if Breezeclan's leader were like that...it wouldn't be pretty. She'd take any opportunity to get away from camp too. And passing the time-well, that was normal. Being a medicine cat apprentice was great and all, but sometimes it really was a drag. No battle training or hunting patrols, just endless herbs to memorize and confusing signs from Starclan.
·Maybe that was the whole reason Palepaw had even asked her to go with him in the first place. She was literally the only cat in the whole forest that knew how he felt. She stopped to let that sink in, feeling pride at being in the right position to help somebody out. She was the cat that could emphathize with Palepaw, about being a medicine cat apprentice. Of course, they weren't exactly the same, but so what? They had different challenges and hardships, but they were in the same boat.
·"Okay, let's go! Let me just take these back to the den." She said. A tendril of fear slithered through her body for a moment, but her adventurous spirit overtook it rapidly. She could learn a little about Palepaw and Stoneclan as they went. Of course, the two would always be rivals. But who was there to say that they couldn't get along every now and then. They kind of needed it. Vividpaw grabbed the dock leaves she'd brought out, and ran them back into the medicine cat den. She stopped once she was out of sight for a beaming smile to break through her smooth exterior. No matter how much foreboding she felt about this, she had a gut feeling that it would be a good thing. She just knew it. The she-cat dropped the herbs hastily into their pile and ran an eye over the stocks, remembering what they were low on.
·She trotted back out from the den, her smile smaller but still present. She didn't want to appear excited to be with him-that would ruin their whole enemyship. "Come on!" She called over her shoulder as she led the way out of the camp. She briefly wondered if she should get a warrior to accompany them. She dismissed that idea without much thought. She didn't want to appear scared, and she knew what she was doing. Besides, they'd just get in the way.
