History:
Age: Forty-seven [moons]
Gender: She-cat
Rank: Leader
Personality:
Tigerstar is not a cat who could be described in one word, well, as far as personality goes. For starters, she is assertive. She is not shy and she won't hesitate to speak her mind if she needs too. Once she has made up her mind, she can not be moved. She is her own cat, and no one makes decisions for her. She is a strong leader; always making the choice she believes is right. Her emotions don't usually collide with her decisions; but it has happened before. Though not anymore, because her feelings are for her Clan and with her Clan.Picture: n.a
She is a true warrior; she would lay down her life for her clan, and she makes sure that it is supported at all times. Despite her role as leader, she sometimes wishes that the other cats would treat her as a normal warrior; without honor and fear. As long as she is alive, she will be a loyal friend. She cares about her clan and every cat in it. She sometimes envy's the queens; they have kits and somebody to care for them, but she knows that one day she will have a family as well, and pushes it aside.
Tigerstar's main weakness is her sense of trust; she places it in little. Mind you me, she trusts her clan with an intense flame, but there are few in whom she would trust her life with. She has never been betrayed by this yet; but she has it coming. She may not see it, but that vulnerability could be potentially harmful to herself and her Clan sometime in the far future, should she not learn better ways.
Short Description:
A brown tabby with green eyes.Appearance:
Tigerstar, as her name may hint, looks like a tiger. She is a brown tabby, basically. Her markings are a nice dark brown colour, chocolate, you could say. They can be found all over her body, cascading, swirling, and mixing with each other perfectly. The first two lines start at her nose, and they make their way up to her eyes, where the common 'M' shape is, and from there, it turns into something else. The lines criss-cross her pelt, perfectly dubbing a tiger's looks, but there is a difference; her shoulders. Instead of more lines, she has two identical circles on both sides of her shoulders, trailing back into the tiger stripes. This continues until you get to her legs, then they turn into plain stripes, circling onto her feet. From her feet they turn into three blotches of brown. Her tail has the same tiger stripes, with the exception of the tip, it turns into a dot. Thus ending her pelt.Lives Remaining: 8
Tigerstar, in physique, is strong. Though she is very muscular, she is agile, making her a great MireClan warrior. Her legs are perhaps her most powerful weapon, and she is very fast when running. She is an admiral opponent in battle, and is able to cause great wounds to her enemies, which she loves. Her muscles are clearly shown through her short fur, and when she walks, they flex. What the feline lacks though is her eyesight, so when in battle, she is easy to attack from the side; but she may hear you, so be careful. She is bothered by this, but sees it as a gift to balance out her physical strength.
Tigerstar's pelt is thick, but short. Her fur has many layers, all short and thin. This causes her to be warmed easily. Her pelt is soft, softer then feathers, and it comforts her as she buries her head into her fur whilst she sleeps, or to keep warm. Her eyes are another story, through, and she finds them one of her best attributes. They are a pale green, but they mix with brown, creating a pale greenish brown. They almost never show what she is thinking, though. Her soul hiding behind the clouds in her orbs, and they seem to pierce through you.
History:
Tigerkit was born to two loyal MireClan warriors, her mother the leader. Her brothers were Tallkit, and Swiftkit. Her mother was Coldstar and her father was Tigerfur. Tigerkit was a copy of her father, but her personality was very different. Tigerkit would always be fighting with something, Tallkit, or someone's tail. Swiftkit would press leaves to their pelts, pretending he was a medicine cat. Coldstar was amused, but Tigerkit looked down on her brother, often calling him names.Family:
"Who would WANT to be a medicine cat?" the young kit teased her brother, "I'm going to be leader!"
During her kithood, Tigerkit grew fond of another kit, Specklekit, and the two soon became fast friends, always talking about how they would be the leader one day. Specklekit teased her, telling her how he would let her be his deputy, but Tigerkit had to admit, that didn't sound too shabby. The young 'tiger' kit respected her friend and would be proud to be his deputy. She often asked her mother how it felt to be leader, and her stories never disappointed the young she-kit.
"Your dad gave you a life?" she gasped, her eyes glittering. Coldstar purred in amusement, "Yes."
It was a moon before she was too be apprenticed, and there was a rumor going around camp about how Swiftkit would be the medicine cat apprentice. Earlier Tigerkit and Specklekit would have made fun of him for it, but they soon realized that it would be an honor, and invited him to play with them. Tallkit and Swiftkit went missing one day, and Coldstar turned into a mess. Tigerfur had tried to comfort her, but Tigerkit told him how he couldn't make her feel better. Swiftkit came back, his left ear torn. As he padded into the camp, he was at the feet of a FlurryClan warrior, Tallkit in his mouth.
"Next time, bring a better tasting kit," the dark warrior spat, not ready for the mass of cats who attacked him. A yowl went through the camp as Coldstar came up, "You will wish you never touched my son!" she shrieked before going for his neck.
Now an apprentice, Tigerpaw tried to get over the shock of how her brother would never be a warrior, the WindClan warrior snipping off his tail, and leaving him with many injuries. Specklepaw had helped numb the pain, but she was still hollow inside. What made things worse was how she was trained heavily, and her mentor, Thistleheart, trained her hard. One moon later Tigerpaw was more muscular then any of the apprentices, but for what? It hurt her to train so hard, and it left her aching throughout the night.
Thistleheart spat angrily at his apprentice, hissing furiously. "Work harder!" Tigerpaw wailed in protest, "I'm bleeding, let me stop!" the only response was the sound of blood hitting the trees.
Tigerpaw was asked how she got the wounds, but she never replied. Slowly the chill of her mentor was getting into her heart, and she never complained when she was pushed too hard. Whenever Thistleheart wasn't around she had fun. She tried to tell her mother about what he was doing, but she never really believed her, telling her how she was pushed in the same manner. That never helped Tigerpaw, it made her angrier.
"I'm not like you!" she yelled at her mother, turning the heads of the clan. Anger sparked in her mothers eyes, but she never said anything. She only turned her away with a flick of her tail.
Two moons later when Tigerpaw was found in a pool of scarlet, only then did her mother give her a new mentor; Softgaze. This senior warrior always had a loving gaze to give, but also a scold to be said. It made her smile, really, and she was very thankful that she had a loving mentor who tolerated her mistakes. Over the many moons she finally received her warrior name; one that many thought fit her well. Tigerheart. The new warrior was so exited, and her best friend; Specklepaw, had earned his name too.
Tigerheart's green eyes glowed with honor, she looked over at Specklefur, grinning. The two went to the center of the camp, just hoping that they would become great leaders.
Over many moons Tigerheart proved her loyalty again and again, while Specklefur glided into the shadows, almost never speaking. One day while he went out of camp, the feline decided that it was time to followed him. She followed him to the FlurryClan border, and there she realized with pain that his mate was in FlurryClan. She burst out of the bracken, hissing furiously, back arched, and hostility clouding her eyes.
"No, please, it's not what y-"
"Save it!" she spat, pain sticking to her voice, "You've proved where your loyalty lies, go!" her best friend came up to her, but she shook her head. "GO!" she hissed, turning back and running.
The current MireClan deputy, Tallear, had died, and her mother chose her as the new deputy. Only a few congratulated her, but the others thought she was only chosen for being her daughter; three cats left the clan that night. Tigerheart was overcome by grief, it was her fault that the cats left, she was somber from then on, but she was always haunted by this memory.
The cold bed of moss reminded her of how she told Specklefur to leave, her heart ached. She had to talk to him again, but she couldn't. He was loyal to FlurryClan now.
Day by day Coldstar grew weaker, she was on her last life, and a sickness was overwhelming her. Frosteye had tried to help Coldstar, but she couldn't do anything. When she died, she was reluctant to go to the cave, she was too sad. She knew she had too, though, and pushed on. As she was getting her lives, her brother, Swiftleg, and her mother were there. She was overjoyed, and she started her new life happily.
"I promise, I will always do what is right. I owe you that."
