The day was going well for Goldenstar, She was about to call a clan meeting. Just arriving back from Highstones with her new nine lives she had never felt so powerful. She walked into camp at a fast speed her powerful leg muscles looking ready to jump at every moment. She sprung from the ground to the top of her stand. "Let all cats of Cascadeclan gather under me for a clan meeting." She called out loudly for all cats to hear. She had some apprentices to name mentors and some stuff to talk about. This meeting was none other than a confirmation of her as leader.
---
Brackenfur had been eating a vole when his leader called out for the clan meeting, as if by habit he picked up the vole and resettled down by the stand where goldenstar sat and continued eating waiting for the rest of the clan to arrive.
---
Hazelpaw was just finishing giving the elders more moss for bedding when he heard the call. He padded over to the stand energetically and looked for Mothpaw. He had grown quite fond of the she-cat over the moons as an apprentice.

Dawnpaw Padded out of the Medicine den and sat near Hazelpaw and Mothpaw. She looked up toward Goldenstar, wondering what the Meeting was about.

Dozing in and out of consciousness, Mothpaw lounged in her mossy bed, her tail flicking lazily as she relaxed. A familiar yowl reached her ears, and the young apprentice sat up, blinking sleep from her eyes as she looked toward the place where Goldenstar normally stood to address the Clan. Oh, she had made it back safely! Spotting Hazelpaw looking for her, Mothpaw sprang to her feet and sneaked up behind him. Hissing, she leaped right over him and trotted over to sit beside Brackenfur. When Dawnpaw, the medicine cat apprentice, sat beside her, she looked at the other she-cat shyly and mewed, "Hi." [/size]

Goldenstar squinted looking over her entire clan so far a couple apprentices and a warrior had come under the stand. She would have to do something about the clan-wide laziness, How would they conquer any land that way?
---
Brackenfur looked and saw Mothpaw trotting up and sitting besides him. "Greetings Mothpaw." He meowed politely dipping his head to her. He always tried to pull Mothpaws whiskers like this.
---
Hazelpaw noticed Mothpaw pad past him to sit next to Brackenfur. "erm mothpa-?" He started but realized she wasn't even listening. Did he make her mad or something? He whined a little and crept up besides Dawnpaw still near Mothpaw but not next to her. If she wanted space he could giver her space.

((Haha, I didn't mean to make her sound mean x.x I was trying to get her to play with him.))
Mothpaw stared at Brackenfur, eyes wide in surprise. What was with this serious air? Was she in trouble? Uneasy, she looked down, ears flattening uneasily. And then Hazelpaw sat down beside her...well, not beside her. Not that close, actually. On the other side of Dawnpaw. Was he mad? Too shy to ask straight-out, Mothpaw, lowered her head slightly and set her eyes on Goldenstar, trying to distract herself and look as if she were actually interested in what the leader was going to say. Dawnpaw was staring up at the clouds, tuned out. Dawnpaw shook her head to get out of the trance.
"Oh, sorry, Mothpaw." Dawnpaw apologized. "Hi!" she exclaimed. She let out a little Mrrow of amusement to see Hazelpaw Cower next to her. She Tapped him on the shoulder with her tail, to say 'Everything's alright.." "I wonder what Goldenstar has to say..." she mumbled, just loud enough so that the apprentice's could hear.

Fernpool padded out of her den behind Dawnpaw and followed the apprentice to the place where Goldenfeather stood. Looking up at her leader expectantly, Fernpool settled herself next to Brackenfur and waited for her sister to pad her lazy way over. --- Petalnose poked her nose out of the warriors den where she had been taking a nap and stretched before padding her way over to where the can was gathering. Everyone seemed very sleepy in the late afternoon sun and the clan was gathering very slowly. Padding her way over, she scanned the few cats for Brackenfur. She spotted him nestled between an apprentice and the medicine cat who, Petalnose was put out to notice, was a she-cat and seemed to get along fairly well with the tom. Medicine cat or not, cases had been heard. Petalnose hissed as she passed and padded her way along to sit alone. --- Fernpool heard a hiss as Petalnose passed and turned to see the she-cat pad angrily away to sit alone. Wondering what could be wrong, Fernpool turned to Brackenfur and cocked her head inquisitively asking silently if he knew what was up with his mate.

Lightstep had just entered camp with a fat fish clamped between her jaws as she heard the leaders issued call. Placing the fish on the fresh kill pile, she padded her way over to Fernpool and sat beside her sister who seemed worried about something. As she made her way over though, Lightstep noticed Petalnose seemed angry and Hazelpaw seemed upset as well. Wondering if this was all connected in some way, Lightstep felt herself torn. Whom should she comfort? Deciding her apprentice was the most important at the moment since he was the youngest, she made her way over and sat beside Hazelpaw. “Are you alright Hazelpaw?” she asked concernedly. Despite the apprentice’s recent mishap, he’d been generally good and kept up with his punishment without a complaint. Remembering the meeting with Goldenfeather she had yet to arrange, Lightstep sighed and lay down and folded her paws so that she was level with her apprentice. “You know, since you’ve been good and haven’t complained about cleaning the elders den alone, I won’t make you speak with Goldenfeather. Now cheer up and after this we can go out and train alright?” she asked hoping the apprentice would be cheered.
