Cricketsong holds many different traits in her personality, some more surprising than others.Picture: farm2.static.flickr.com/1162/1095129275_c0d6052452.jpg
First meet
When this young warrior first meets someone new, she tends to be rather....quiet and suspicious. It seems as if she's afraid to share any secrets with the cat, as if, even if they are within her own clan, they have to prove that they aren't going to betray her. To unlock further secrets in this she-cat, you have to get to know her. Oh, and she takes awhile to warm up to someone usually. It's not instant, though she has offended some of her more proud clan mates this way. So, don't take personal offense. If you do, good luck trying to catch Cricketsong as a friend.
So I've talked to you a few times
This she-cat doesn't give her trust easily, and still more difficult to get is her friendliness. Yes, she might appear cold in the beginning, and here the iciness still exists. However, it has warmed up slightly, and she might attempt to make more of a conversation than before. Once again, cats must be patient with the shy she-cat.
All right, I trust you.
If cats have reached this stage, they have truly gained Cricketsong's trust, which is a wonder and quite an accomplishment. By this stage, all shyness has melted away, and you are treated to a kind and caring warrior that has a playful edge that never seems to quit. She's quite a joker in reality, and many, though surprised, have been caught off guard by her quick wit. A clever mind works in her head, so keep on your guard. Overall, once you've reached a firm stage of friendship, she'll be a cat that'll never let you down. She'll stay loyal to you no matter what. Trust, however, is something she's given you. So, if you betray it, expect the cold and icy side again. Kind, caring, loyal, and witty, if you get to know her. Cold, shy, quiet, if you never gain her valued trust.
Short Description:
Ginger and brown tabby she-cat with a white chest, paws, tail tip, and belly and light green eyes.Appearance:
Cricketsong has an odd pelt, to tell the truth. It looks as if, when she was young, two pelts of other cats were mushed together to create hers. She has a mix of tabby splotches with no real defining borders between the colors covering most of her body. The colors are a bright orange/ginger and the darker brown of a normal tabby. Yes, they even have tabby markings, though the stripes are smudged on her flanks. However, the colors aren't just side by side; ginger can be found surrounded by brown, just as brown can be found surrounded by ginger. Also, there is a third color to this amazing array of colors. Her chest, belly, and four dainty paws are the purest white. Also, on her maw and a blaze down her nose, the white can be found again. Her tail is mostly brown tabby, even though there is ginger randomly placed along it's length. Her tail tip, oddly enough, is pure white for about an inch.History:
The frame that this pelt covers is long and lean. She's well-muscled, yet long-limbed and long tailed. She's quite tall for a she-cat, though she fits it well and is graceful.
Her eyes are a pale green like the colors of leaves when in the first days of newleaf, with just a hint of the yellow summer sun in their depths. The shape is round and outlined in black.
Kit-hood for Otterkit and Cricketkit was rather uneventful. They did have a third sibling, a small black she-kit by the name of Ravenkit, but she was weak and sick from the moment she was born. At their third week, Ravenkit passed into StarClan from an illness caught as a result of her weak immune system. The remaining two kits didn't really understand at the time why their sister was gone, only that she didn't come back.Family:
Soon enough after a normal kit life, Cricketkit and her brother became apprentices. Cricketkit was apprenticed to an old tom by the name of Badgerclaw who, five moons after she finished training, was killed by a fox. However, training was relatively normal; nothing happened much until her 11th moon. Almost done with training, she suffered another blow to her family. In a battle with ValeClan, Cricketpaw lost both of her parents. She continued to mourn, becoming quieter than ever. Two moons after the tragedy, she was given her warrior name, and hasn't looked back since.
Has a brother named Ottersplash. Parents (Mother=Quietstep, Father=Thunderpelt) were killed in a battle when she and her brother were apprentices.RP Example:
Other:A young tom rose his head from the new nest that had yet to carry his scent, blinking in the sunlight that streamed through the opening of the apprentice hollow. For a moment he was confused. Where was he? Then, memories of last evening came back to him. Banestar staring down at him, the first apprentice ever since CipherClan had split up and Blitzpaw had left. Oh, but of course there was Rabbitpaw, but he had been found dead on the edges of the territory. So, it was to him that this spacious hollow belonged for now. Hopefully he wouldn't be alone for too long; being the clan's only apprentice left the feeding of the elders and the cleaning out of their den to him alone.
Sighing, the young tom uncurled from his nest, knowing now that the sun was too bright and he was too awake to fall into the realm of dreams. Stretching in the glorious warmth, the ginger tabby opened his jaws wide in a yawn, before closing them with a soft click. Shaking off a bit of moss that was stuck to his foot, he looked outside to see very few cats moving about. Typical. Sunpaw thought, placing one paw on the branch below him.
In just a minute or so, he landed on the ground with a sigh. Even as an apprentice, his climbing skills were better than the rest of the clans, save for perhaps CelestialClan. But, they didn't matter now anyway; who wanted the soft-hearted clan with them? All cats that had were dead now, killed, perhaps, by their own rebellious warriors.. Who knew? All that Sunpaw was aware of was that their leader was found, dead of a bite and his so-called lover dead in the medicine cat's den. Their brief reign was nothing more than a memory for Sunpaw, who'd only been a kit at the time.
As the young tom sat down and gazed around sleepily, a soft cream and brown bundle rammed into his flank. Startled, Sunpaw looked down into the blue eyes of Viperkit. The younger tom, having gotten along with his former den mate only days ago, sat beside him like a mirror image. Had it not been for Sunpaw's ginger fur and bulkier build, they looked comically alike, with their tails curled over their paws and their eyes watching the slowly waking clan.
"So whatcha waiting for? A she-cat?" Came Viperkit's teasing tone. Though it was apparently a joke, Viperkit knew he wouldn't mind a she-cat himself, even if he was just a kit. Hey, maybe even two! Who knew, when you were a cat like him?
Sunpaw chuckled, flicking one ear. "No, just...waiting." He replied with a sigh. Viperkit gave him a quizzical look, yet the tabby apprentice didn't respond.
Nothing that anyone would like to know. ^^
