History:
Age: 35 moons
Gender: Tom
Rank: Deputy
Personality:
As a warriorPicture:
Being a warrior, Ottersplash is quite good at keeping his courage in the face of danger. He is clever, smart, and fast. Three things needed for a warrior at all times. He has a deep sense of loyalty to both his clan and his fellow clan mates. He will defend his clan at all costs, even when he knows they have done wrong. Respects authority, and sticks to the warrior code like glue.
As a leader figure
Ottersplash's clever wit is used mostly to help other cats whenever they need it. He's wise, able to make decisions well, and keeps his head in a stressful situation. I will admit that he can be a little snappish and strict at times, but only if you get on his nerves too often. Cares for the clan, and, as said before, extremely loyal to them.
As a friend
Well, besides his caring and loyal sides, Ottersplash has that easy-to-get-along-with attitude. He has a good sense of humor, and uses it to help cheer cats up. He can't stand seeing a cat feel down; it is just something he can't let happen. He talks to pretty much everyone and doesn't mind letting others hear his opinion. Quite better at speaking to complete strangers than his sister is. Isn't too judgmental, though he sometimes will hold it against a cat if they have done something wrong in the past. Again, this is that trust thing; if you betray his trust, you will have to work hard to get it back.
Short Description:
Dark brown tom with bright green eyes.Appearance:
In the shadows and at night, Ottersplash appears to be a completely black cat with no special markings what so ever. However, when he walks in the sunlight, it is evident that his pelt is a deep and rich chocolate brown. The fur itself is thick and smooth, as well as short. The fur is, however, parted on the inside of one of his back legs where this is an ugly scar about a mousetail-length long that runs up and down. Also, he has a small white spot on his chin, where it appears the fur has been rubbed off. But it hasn't; it's just white. Other than that, this pelt is smooth and shiny.Lives Remaining: N/A
His frame is lithe, like his sister's, yet bulkier in the head and shoulders than Cricketsong. His limbs are long as well(For this a trait that ran through his entire family), yet not as long as Cricketsong's.
Now for his eyes. They are round and have a color that is somewhat hard to explain. They are an intense green that has a heavy yellow tinge. Almost an apple color, yet not completely. They pale out even more in the daylight, looking extremely light.
History:
As a kit, Otterkit quickly proved that he was already the leader of the trio that was he and his siblings. He always cared for his two sisters, Ravenkit and Cricketkit fiercely, letting nothing hurt them. What he didn't realize, however, was that he would soon lose one of those closest to him.Family: Family:
Ravenkit was always the weakest of the three, as Otterkit well knew. What he couldn't accept, however, was her death at three weeks. He and his remaining sister didn't understand what had happened; only that Ravenkit had left them forever. It was from that moment on that Otterkit watched his other sister even closer than before.
As moons past, the two young bundles of fur quickly grew into sleek apprentices. Otterpaw was apprenticed to an older she-cat warrior by the name of Lotuswisp. The she-cat was hard on him, and Otterpaw nearly couldn't stand it. He became quieter, drifting away from his friends. Yet, he knew she was only doing her best to make him a great warrior; that is the reason he remained quiet about the vigorous training schedule. Eventually, these skills would come in handy and would play a part in saving Cricketpaw's life. Their first battle at 11 moons was horrible. They, along with a small patrol, were ambushed by a ValeClan patrol over a misunderstanding. In this patrol was him, his sister, his parents, and two other warriors. They stood no chance against the other clan. It was in this battle that Otterpaw received the scar on his leg.
After he fought off this cat that had given him the wound, he realized with horror that both his sister and his parents were cornered. He had to choose who to save, and it had to be Cricketpaw. His parents would expect no less. So, as Otterpaw leaped to Cricketpaw's rescue, his parents were slain by ValeClan warriors. Another FlurryClan patrol came to their rescue, but they were too late. By the time the invading cats were driven off, two of FlurryClan's warriors had lost their lives. Otterpaw was devastated, convinced it was his fault that Quietstep and Thunderpelt were dead. He has never forgiven himself, and this thought still haunts his nightmares.
But, life had to continue. So, growing closer to his mentor after the tragedy, Otterpaw threw himself into training with a new determination. No one he cared about would die like that again, helpless and alone. Lotuswisp, delighted with his progress, began to spend more time with her apprentice than her fellow warriors. That's why, after a battle with CascadeClan, she and Badgerclaw, who was Cricketpaw's mentor, approached their leader. After a smooth assessment, Otterpaw took the proud name of Ottersplash.
Moons went by, and Ottersplash proved once again of his wise skills. He was popular with the clan, always a cat to go to if you needed help. These skills, his wit, and his calm nature in stressful situations were what the leader saw in him the night that Deertail stepped down from power. The next night or two, after Duskstar became leader, Ottersplash was chosen as the next deputy.

The moon had traveled to it's highest point in the ebony-coated sky when a slender feline slipped from the dark gloom of a cave. The sweet scent of herbs clung to her pelt, though she did not use them in a daily practice. Her steps, normally quick and even, were clumsy and slow due to a limp that she had developed recently in a deadly battle where she had nearly lost more than just dignity and pride. Her life had almost been taken by a loner not two days ago. But that was not what was bothering the calico she-cat. No, not at all.Other:
She continued to limp across the cavern floor, feeling the cold of the stone seep up through her paws. She could hear the waterfall now, louder than it usually was. But that was to be expected; The night was not as loud as the day. It was as peaceful as death was. Or the moments before. Longstride thought, shuddering. The deputy continued padding forward until she had reached the water's edge. Her front paws being placed on the very edge of the slippery stones, the tired deputy finally sat. It was then that Longstride turned her gaze upward. Through the sheet of water that protected the camp, a fuzzy, smudged image of the moon could be seen. It was a little lopsided, considering it wasn't a complete full moon. Though she was unable to seem them, she knew all too well that the stars were around the moon, covered in their full glory. They may have been breathtaking, but they also filled Longstride with fear and confusion. During that fight, StarClan had not once covered the moon with clouds to show disapproval. It was as if they wanted to watch Longstride with the loner's fangs deep in her snow-white throat. The deputy knew not what to think anymore. Was I supposed to be deputy? Is StarClan displeased by my new position? What does it all mean? The thoughts kept racing through her head, sending her in a frantic state. It was too much to handle. "What do you want from me StarClan?" She cried, her rage-filled tone echoing around the silent Clan camp. Longstride bowed her head. Who cared if her words were heard by others? It wasn't like it mattered anymore.
(If an example of Ottersplash is needed, just tell me. ^^)
If not accepted as deputy, may he become a warrior? Thanks. ^^
