Rolling over in the apprentice den a silver-grey tabby she-cat, stretched, claws unsheathed. standing up she shook herself. It was the early morning and she hoped she could find something to help the clan. Shaking herself to wake herself a bit, she padded out through the entrance and into the clearing. She didn't anybody awake yet and decided to check the fresh kill pile.
Trotting over she held her head high despite how she felt inside. Today was one of the days she was riddled with shame from her past, unable to help her mother, unable to protect herself and hearing his voice. Mistypaw shook everything though and kept going towards the middle of camp. The fresh kill pile was somewhat full.
Sitting down curling her tail in the air, she looked around to see if anyone was awake yet. She didn't much movement and wondered if she could go hunting today or train with another warrior in the clan, or her fellow apprentices. She really hoped Lightningclaw and her could train and soon, she wanted to get to know her mentor as soon as possible.
Shifting from one foot to the other she looked aroudn nervously. She hoped she didn't look weird just sitting and waiting for someone to show up. She needed to be someone today and do something, but most of all she wanted to do something worthwhile for the clan right now. Maybe the elders need new bedding, or need ticks taken off...or the medicine cat needs an errand done, but then again She had Skypaw for that. Mistypaw bit her bottom lip in thought. What was she going to do today?
Her bright blue eyes closed as she yawned and stretched again gher claws scratching the dirt beneath them. She would wait for someone to give her direction, before she did anything. She was still adjusting to clan life and how things went around here, but she did understand the basics.
She just had to make it look like for now she had a reason for sitting here in the middle of camp. She grabbed a mouse so she didn't look stupid and began eating it slowly. When the mouse was finished she picked up the scraps left over and brought them out back to bury the bones. Mistypaw came back and waited near the entrance of the camp to see if someone was willing to tell her some duty to do, after all she was an apprentice she had to serve her time before she became a warrior.
