Swifteye had just come back from her meeting with Tideshatter, she had told everyone she was going out to hunt, though she had the feeling they were getting suspicious. It didn't matter. She was going to have to tell her clan eventually, and she didn't have to tell who the mate was, did she? She could just tell them she wasn't comfortable with explaining who it was. That would work.
She walked past a few of her clanmates, head down. Maybe if she didn't look them in the eye, they wouldn't question her. She had been getting plumper these days, and didn't want any questions raised. She walked passed the nursery, and chuckled to herself, there was noone in there at the moment. She would be soon though. She walked passed the apprentices den, getting strange looks from a few of them, and jumped up highledge to the edge of Duskstars den.
Swifteye took a deep breath, and meowed.
"Duskstar, will you come out? I have something important to ask you.." |
