History:
Age: 36 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Rank: Leader
Personality:
Foxstar isn't the kind of she-cat that takes anything from anyone. Do to her size, she learned from a young age that cats with disadvantages have to work three times as hard as everyone else for half the respect. Everything this leader centers her life around now is around that though process, and how it translates in her mind. Foxstar will treat the blind the same as she treats any other clan member, because she simply expects them to work to get over what they don't have. When they do, they earn their leader's respect to the fullest extent. Why? Because Foxstar went through the same thing. Her size was half that of a regular MireClanner. She was born a small, sickly female that was the runt of the litter. Who knew such a 'worthless' cat could turn out to be so great. Well, Foxstar knew. She knew from kithood that should would prove herself. Her goal was set, and she didn't stop until she got there.Picture: Click.
Foxstar not only expects a lot from her clan, but she expects everything to go as it always has. Traditions stay the same, patrols go out at the same time every day, and apprentices and mentors do the same thing they did moons ago. You could call Foxstar a perfectionist, but that would be false. She is more than that. Her life is centered around making the clan better, faster, stronger, and have as many advantages as possible. If this means stealing territory from a different clan, then so be it. This leader loves her clan so much she is willing to do anything for them. It doesn't matter if it would hurt another clan, so long as it would strengthen her's. Who needs yet another tough Leafbare? After all, MireClan is stronger, larger, and far better than the other three clans in her opinion, so they may need more territory to hunt in.
The next trait that Foxstar has is her pride. No matter what difficulty is going on in her clan, she will never ask for help. MireClan can push through it, she believes, and doesn't need assistance like the weaker clans below them. If a problem comes up, they will find a way to handle it. Foxstar is determined to make her clan the strongest there is. This would be a sign of weakness, so who knows what the other clans would do? They might attack camp, their weak point. Cats lives could be lost. No, Foxstar loves her clan far too much to let that happen to them. So, she never will. That means not announcing weaknesses or problems for the whole forest to hear.
Short Description:
A small, dainty looking she-cat with orange tabby fur and dark brown eyes.Appearance:
An odd cat for MireClan, Foxstar is the opposite of what her clan would have wanted had they had the choice. Her build, first off, is like that of a FlurryClanner. Her general frame is about the size of a young apprentice. Foxstar's paws are small and dainty looking that, moving up, switch into short but strong legs. Her middle area is skinny and seemingly has a lack of muscle tone. Shoulders are thin and boney. Even her tail is thin, although much longer than most, and almost graceful in combination with her 'sweet' appearance.Lives Remaining: 9
Next, what Foxstar was named for; her fur. To start, she is a tabby. The color of her striped pelt is a dark ginger, almost the color of the sun. Next, the stripes are a much darker shade, though the same general color of a dark orange. They dance across her pelt like fire. The most odd thing about this she-cat would be her chest, underbelly, tail, and paws. The bright, snow ivory that they take on only proves that Foxstar is not a full bred, but whose parents were a tabby tom and a simple solid white she-cat. A common combination that came with a not so common pelted offspring. In fact, there are not many other ginger tabbys in MireClan, yet another thing that this leader has to take pride in.
Going into more details, Foxstar has a few strange looks. First off, instead of the bright green eyes that tend to come with her breed, she ended up with a different color. They are such a dark, deep brown that they almost look red next her her ginger pelt. Foxstar has long, ivory whiskers, a pink nose, and pink pads. Her claws, a favorite weapon, are almost as brown as her eyes, but not quite. It seems as though nothing could be as brown as this she-cat's eyes.
History:
(It's a new way of doing history, you don't mind, do you?)Family:
"Foxkit!"
A small ginger she-cat looked up from where she was resting; in the shade in front of the Nursery. Her dark brown eyes narrowed with interest as she noticed her brother bound toward her. Toadkit wasn't usually so friendly... Foxkit coughed a few times and stood on shaky legs. It hadn't been long after this kit was born that she was recognized as the runt of the litter. She had been sickly as long as she could remember, always having to visit the Medicine Cat for something or another. Suddenly, Toadkit ran at her from across the clearing, tackling her with a 'mighty' battle yowl and pinning her down with his two front paws. Her brother was the largest of the litter, and a bully at that.
"Get off of me!" Hissed Foxkit, pushing up immediately with all four paws. When Toadkit didn't move she sunk her teeth into the leg nearest to her, and her sibling jumped off in surprise. "Hey!" He growled, licking the paw that was now bleeding, "I'm telling!" The tom limped off toward the Nursery where their mother, Silverwing, was surely residing. Foxkit rolled her eyes, but sat up a little higher, proud of herself.
Maybe, just maybe, she would accomplish something great one day.
--------
Foxpaw landed with a thud, wind knocked out of her.
"Again." A voice said, "And get it right this time."
The she-cat returned to her paws, glaring pointedly at her mentor, "Marshwhisker, we've been out all day!" The warrior gave her a look, and she sighed. Foxpaw took a few steps forward and crouched down, dark brown eyes narrowed in concentration. Suddenly the large tom was running toward her. The apprentice studied him for a moment, then leaped into the air. Marshwhisker flew right beneath her, ending up on her opposite side. Foxpaw quickly turned once she landed, ready for a counter-attack, but her mentor sat and wrapped his tail around his paws.
"Excellent."
--------
"Foxpaw, do you swear to defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do."
"Then I, leader of MireClan, award you your warrior name. From this day forth you shall be known as Foxflash. The clan honors your Loyalty and Determination."
Foxflash closed her eyes and let the chanting of her new surname sink in. If only Toadpaw could be here beside her, earning his warrior name like they had imagined from kit hood. A wave of sadness passed over the she-cat. Four moons earlier, her brother had died of Blackcough, leaving her to face the world alone. The siblings had not been close, but the toll of the death still had its effect on her. Foxflash looked up at her old mentor, who nodded his approval. It was the first praise given by him in a long time, and the she-cat's heart swelled with pride. She had made her mentor proud. To her, the promise she made herself so many moons ago was now fulfilled.
Foxflash had no idea what she would end up accomplishing.
--------
"Again." Meowed Foxflash, eyes locked on the small tom on the ground. He lifted his head,
"But we've been out here all day!"
"And we will be until you get this right, Duskpaw." Meowed Foxflash calmly. Her memories flashed to when she herself was an apprentice, speaking that same quote. Of course Marshwhisker didn't take any complaining, she had actually been training well into the night perfecting a battle move. Being a good warrior was all she could do to thank her old mentor before he died. Foxflash was sure she made him proud.
Before Duskpaw was fully to his paws, the she-cat ran at him. He was knocked off his paws in less than a heartbeat.
"Always be aware of your surroundings." She meowed simply, "Again."
--------
Foxflash hung her head as she sat stiffly at the edge of the clearing, ready to start vigil for the previous deputy. His body sat, motionless, in the middle of the camp, surrounded by clan members and friends. Out of the corner of her eye, Foxflash saw Quickstar come out form his den. The warrior wasn't surprise, it was nearing Moonhigh, and a new deputy would have to be named. She pricked her ears curiously, but did not get up.
Quickstar didn't need to call a meeting, because the cats were all already gathered in the clearing. He instead leaped up on the rock, opening his mouth to address the clan, "I, with a heavy heart, have chosen the next deputy for our great clan." Foxflash looked up, wondering vaguely who it would be. "I say these words before the body of Hareflight, that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of MireClan will be Foxflash."
A wave of mummers erupted, everyone was approving Quickstar's choice. The new deputy, however, was shocked. Foxflash showed none of what she was feeling, however, as she padded up to the front of the group to accept the honor.
--------
Foxstar rose stiffly to her paws, raising her head to the sky. It was dawn. The body of Quickstar lay, cold, at her feet as the friends and kin of the old leader grieved around him. Slightly uncomfortable with her new position, Foxstar padded briskly to the same rock so many ceremonies had been held on, and leaped onto it.
"Friends, we all will miss the great Quickstar, but it is time for his soul to pass to StarClan." The new leader watched as the group slowly retreated, backing up to make way for the elders as they carried the body away for burial. She allowed her eyes to show her sorrow for the lost life, then leaped down to comfort her clanmates as her new self.
Foxstar, leader of MireClan.
Parents are both deceased, as is her brother, Toadpaw.RP Example:
Oh my gosh I am so out of inspiration... Can my history count as my RP sample? Sorry for being so lazy, but otherwise my writing would suck big time. So, technically it wouldn't be a real sample of my RPing? xDOther:
I understand if you want me to do one anyway, though, just say the word.
I stink at making bios x.x I'd rather RP xD I am totally museless today, so I promise I'll do better than the bio when I do post.
