ValeClan...Because their territory is so packed with prey and diverse, ValeClan has the most problems with all sorts of predators, such as badgers, foxes, hawks, and coyotes. It is not uncommon for ValeClan to lose a cat to a fox attack, or an unwary apprentice that traveled too far into a badger den, or some kits to a particularly brave and hungry hawk. FlurryClan...Because they have little cover, FlurryClan is susceptible to flying predators. Many badgers do live here as well, but FlurryClan cats are much too fast for them. Their little shelter makes hot greenleaf very difficult to bear, and they often stay for long periods of time inside their dens or thick patches of grass. MireClan...MireClan have little to worry about with predators, as not many foxes or badgers enjoy marshes. They do, however, have to watch for patches of thick mud that can drown a cat, as well as becoming lost in the foggy forests. Heavy rainfall can make their marshes flood, so there are frequently several deaths in newleaf, when the snow is thawing. CascadeClanCascadeClan cats have few normal predators to worry about, besides hawks and a few foxes. Instead they occasionally have to watch out for cougars. Their sudden drop-offs can be dangerous to the unwary cat, and when storms rage, mudslides and rockslides can occur.
